Stability AI has added Stable Video Diffusion, an image-to-video model, to its Developer Platform API. This new addition allows developers to integrate advanced video generation into their products. The model offers frame interpolation for 24fps video output and includes safety measures and watermarking. It can generate 2 seconds of video with 25 generated frames and 24 frames of FILM interpolation in an average time of 41 seconds. Developers can control motion strength and choose from multiple layouts and resolutions. The model is compatible with image formats like jpg and png and delivers the final video output in MP4 format. Stability AI’s Developer Platform also offers other image generation models, including Stable Diffusion XL. Customers can access the models through the Stability AI membership or sign up for the waitlist for the upcoming Stable Video web interface.
