OpenAI’s ChatGPT has received its biggest update yet, following the company’s first developers conference. ChatGPT Plus subscribers now have the ability to create their own GPT chatbots, along with a new look and features in the interface. Previously, users had to select each GPT-4 feature separately, but now they can access Advanced Data Analysis, DALL-E 3’s image generation, and internet access all combined with GPT-4’s capabilities. However, using plugins is still separate from GPT-4’s abilities. The Turbo version of GPT-4, which includes knowledge of world events up to April 2023 and a 128k context window, is not yet available for general use. OpenAI plans to release the stable production-ready model in the coming weeks. ChatGPT Plus is a subscription that costs $20 per month and offers additional capabilities, such as web browsing, Advanced Data Analysis, plugins, and access to new features even during high traffic times.
