Adobe’s Firefly generative AI models are now generally available, get pricing plans

Adobe has announced that its Firefly generative AI models are now generally available in its Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud. This means that features like generative fill and generative expand in Photoshop are now accessible without the need for the beta version. Additionally, Firefly is being launched as a standalone web app, giving it official status within Adobe’s product portfolio. Adobe has also revealed its pricing plans for Firefly, which will be based on generative credits that measure user interaction with the models. Existing paid Adobe plan users will receive a certain number of generative credits, ranging from 25 to 3,000, depending on their subscription. Once these credits are used up, Firefly will run slower, except for users subscribed to Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express Premium, who will have access to two generations per day until the end of the month. Adobe has trained the models using images from its Adobe Stock collection, making them commercially safe for businesses to use.
