ChatGPT App for Windows Now Available to Everyone

Create a cheerful, bright 3:2 aspect ratio image showcasing a stylized, computer-animated look similar to early 2000s digital animations, which respects the style, but is not a direct emulation of any copyrighted studios or artists. The scene should illustrate the great news of an AI language model application being available to everyone on Windows. Focus on a detailed depiction of a desktop computer with the application opened on its full-screen window, surrounded by a diverse group of characters in great excitement. This group should portray people of various genders and descents, engaging with the app and expressing joy, curiosity and fascination.

OpenAI has launched a dedicated ChatGPT app for Windows 10 and 11 users, previously limited to web access, offering unique features like a “companion window” for seamless multitasking alongside other programs, accessible via a customizable hotkey. While most features are free, ChatGPT Plus subscribers ($20/month) gain access to Advanced Mode and ChatGPT search, though a preview of Advanced Mode is available for all users briefly. The app also supports image uploads, including screenshots, for interaction with the chatbot. Meanwhile, OpenAI is enhancing the macOS ChatGPT app, adding the ability to read and analyze content directly from third-party apps, starting with a limited set of coding tools. These macOS features, focused on improving developer workflows, are initially for Plus and Team users, with plans to expand functionality across platforms and user tiers while prioritizing privacy through manual activation and data control.
