OpenAI has finally launched the GPT Store, allowing users to share their custom chatbots. This expansion of the OpenAI ecosystem offers more potential use cases for ChatGPT. Since the announcement of the GPT Builder program, users have created more than 3 million bots. The store will feature useful GPTs on a weekly basis. Initially planned for November, the launch was delayed several times before finally happening in January. Currently, only subscribers to OpenAI’s paid tiers can create and use custom GPTs. OpenAI will introduce a revenue sharing program for GPT creators in the first quarter of the year, although details have not yet been shared. A new review system is in place to ensure that custom GPTs comply with brand guidelines and usage policies. The GPT Store will be available to ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise and Team subscribers. ChatGPT Team is a paid version for smaller teams, offering access to GPT-4, DALL-E 3 and Advanced Data Analysis. It is priced at $25 per month per user when billed annually or $30 per month per user for monthly billing.
