The pricing for GPT-4 Turbo is $0.01 per 1,000 input tokens and $0.03 per 1,000 output tokens. The image-processing version’s pricing depends on the image size. GPT-4 Turbo has a more recent knowledge base and a larger context window compared to GPT-4. It offers a 128,000-token context window, the largest among commercially available models. GPT-4 Turbo also supports a new JSON mode and provides better performance on tasks that require following instructions. OpenAI has launched a fine-tuning program for GPT-4, which involves more oversight and guidance from OpenAI teams. The tokens-per-minute rate limit for paying GPT-4 customers has been doubled, while the pricing remains the same.
